Summer Beach Mini Sessions

Session includes:
- 20 minutes of family led photography time
- 8 edited digital images for download, with option to upgrade gallery for more
- Print release to print your faves wherever you'd like!
Summer is my absolute favourite and I can't wait to spend some time splashing at the beach with you and your family! I promise to make your late bedtimes worth it! We'll catch the beautiful end of day golden summer sun! We will catch an updated family portrait and spend some time playing and documenting your true connection and joy! This session is high energy and kid-led! No stiff smiles or awkward posing, I promise!
This beach is so much fun! Bring some towels and a change of clothes, because most kids I've met can't resist the water. Sandals or water shoes are a must though - this is a rock beach not sand!
15$ of each mini session booked will be donated to Kind Space in Ottawa, a local organization that provides accessible resources, events, social, and educational programming to celebrate and support people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions.
All family types welcome! 2SLGBTQ+ friendly! Location is not directly wheelchair accessible, but there is a spot we can access without climbing or stairs that is a grassy path. Please note that due to the short time slot, this session is best suite to immediate family/household members only! Send me a message if you'd like to chat about an extended family session!
Rain dates will be the following day, so please keep that available as well. If the rain date doesn't work for you we can make alternate arrangements.
What if it rains or the weather is awful?
I always plan for a rain date for these sessions - but we can work together to find a rescheduling solution.
What if I get sick?
Please don't come to your session if anyone in your party has symptoms of Covid-19 or any other illness! While mini sessions are non-refundable, I am happy to reschedule to another day when everyone is feeling better.
WHATS YOUR TURN AROUND TIME?
2 weeks from our shoot to gallery delivery. I'll always do my best to have 2-3 sneak peeks available within 48 hours.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Wear what makes you comfortable! That's the best part of candid, real-life photography. We are capturing you and your family as you are! Items you likely have in your wardrobe that photograph well - solids, classic patterns, items without large logos or words.
What if my kids won't smile?
I'm sort of a kid-whisperer. I have never not won a kid over during a session! And, with my candid, lifestyle approach we can capture beautiful moments and images no matter what!
